I visited a new restaurant with my daughter, Missy and my new grand baby today! Mad Greens moved into the area about 2 months ago and I’ve been dying to try it out since I heard about its arrival.
The menu is filled with every possible item you could ever think of putting in a salad. Of course, you can also order a pre-made salad, and that is exactly what we did since we were too hungry and didn’t want to take the time
to create our own salad! Unique to this restaurant is the concept of offering some state specific salads. For example, if you live in Utah, you can order the Butch Cassidy salad, in Texas you have the Bonnie Parker salad on the menu!
Missy ordered a Don Quixote Salad, I ordered the Annie Oakley Panini, and we shared a Hummus Trio. The Don Quixote salad is incredibly flavorful, made with baby greens, mango, avocado, roasted corn, cheese, and grilled chicken, and a yummy ginger dressing. Delicious!
My Annie Oakley panini was filled with moist, roasted chicken, avocado, bacon, and Swiss cheese. All my favorites! It was the perfect choice!
The Hummus Trio came with an Avocado Hummus, Garlic Hummus, and a Southwestern Hummus. It came with warm, soft triangles of pita bread. Our favorite ended up being the Avocado Hummus, because it had just the right amount of spicy flavor! We both love anything spicy!
Oh, and if you want to make your greens mad….ask for their secret spicy sauce!
